ASD Ocean Tug Boat

The Deep Sea Tugboat is an ocean-going, dual-fuel tug built by Gondan Shipbuilders of Spain. The vessel can undertake a number of mission sets that includes escort, firefighting, oil recovery, and water spraying. Classed as an unrestricted navigation AUT-UMS surface vessel, the tug can operate in waters throughout the world, and in a wide range of conditions. Due to its ASD (azimuth stern drive) configuration, powerful bow thruster, and refined controls, the tug can be operated with the highest levels of power and precision. The tug measures 131 feet, 11 inches in length, has a beam of 52 feet, 6 inches, and has a draught of 22 feet. Two Wartsilia 6L34DF dual fuel engines, each of which produce up to 4,023 horsepower, provide main power for the tug. Each 6L34DF turns a Schottel SRP 3030CP propeller. A single 335-horsepower Schottel 170 T-FP provides bow thrusting power. The tug can be fueled with either conventional marine fuels (heavy fuel oil or light fuel oil) or LNG (liquefied natural gas).

IMPORTANT: In a scheduled update in the near future, raindrops will be added to the windows on the bridge.

FAQ

There were several reports from users of unusual situations, but with a similar report: it was impossible to control the boat / the boat stalls in a certain direction - this is not a problem linked to the Add-On itself, but a missing setting in the game standard for more experienced simulations. Piloting assistants disable some features that break the mobility of boats in the water and cause situations where users cannot navigate - and unfortunately they end up, without knowing the reason, blaming the Add-On for this. These images show a recommended configuration for navigating with a keyboard, joystick or other external control hardware, bearing in mind that some of these hardware (especially those with a landing gear lever) may present unusual or unexpected situations due to the nature of the hardware - already that it was designed for runways and airplanes. Any questions, unusual or unexpected situations you face, please contact me via email for assistance.
