Powerboat C3800
Accelerate and challenge your friends in thrilling races with the Powerboat C3800 on 6 detailed circuits around the world, including the canals of Venice!
Each circuit has at least one helipad and accessible deck for walking and docking the boat. Consider gathering your friends in boats, seaplanes and helicopters in these scenarios, challenge races and rides and make your MSFS more immersive and cooperative!
The circuits around the world are: New York, Miami, San Francisco, Rio de Janeiro, Sydney and Venice. The latter has navigable canals and bridges recreated in 3D as in real life, such as the famous Rialto Bridge. You will be able to pass under bridges without any problem on a marked circuit and there are two grandstands with helipads for your friends to fly over your races.

This speedboat is innovative in allowing high-speed driving with integrated autopilot, dynamic lights and 29 customized liveries! You will have at your disposal two Mercury 450R engines with 900HP of total output and worked sounds for the best immersive experience.
The boat features 4k PBR textures, water droplets on the glass, navigation lights with spotlights, neon interior lights, integrated GPS, simplified ignition system with key and completely new and exclusive water navigation physics: your boat will present movements similar to real-life speedboats when accelerating and performing turns!
Start the game anywhere in the world on the water or seaplane track, click the ignition key to start the boat engine, PRESS THE UP/DOWN KEY ON THE JOYSTICK TO REMOVE THE ANCHOR, put the engine at 100% and wait a few seconds for the boat to start moving. Water trails start with the slowest speed you are on. The boat does not have a reverse motor. Use the elevator UP command to move your boat backwards.
Use the aileron controls to turn left and right. The rudder controls simulate axial movement control and do not activate the steering wheel animation, only the aileron control activates the steering wheel animation, as it is the main control method. There is a tablet on the left panel with key blinds for ease of use in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024. There are buttons to turn on/off neon lights and instructions to turn on/off navigation lights.
IMPORTANT: In MSFS 2020, the autopilot is engaged via the "Y" button on the joystick. In MSFS 2024, consider configuring your joystick with this same button assigned to make it easier to use. It is important to note that the autopilot has one function: HDG lock. Therefore, when activating the autopilot, the HDG lock will be automatic, without the need for any other intervention. Configure buttons to facilitate the change of heading course on your joystick to make the autopilot easier to use.
Example: we recommend configuring the decrease in heading definition with the following button combination: "X" + "A" + "LB". To increase heading definition, use "X" + "A" + "RB".
Do the same procedure in MSFS 2020 and 2024.
IMPORTANT: JUST AS YOU WOULD NOT DO IN REAL LIFE, DO NOT GO OUT IN THE SEA WITH WAVES HIGHER THAN 40 KNOTS (74KM/H) AT THE RISK OF CAPSIZING THE BOAT AS IT WOULD HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE. DURING THE SIMULATION, THE SINKING OF THE BOAT IS NOT DRAMATIC AND UNEXPECTED EFFECTS MAY OCCUR CAUSED BY THE SIMULATION ENVIRONMENT ITSELF AND NOT BY A PRODUCT DEFECT
It is important to note that the autopilot may behave poorly at low speeds. Consider using it only at high speeds to simulate cruising.
IMPORTANT: If you are using external flight control hardware, avoid starting your game with the landing gear lever in the down position (extended, as on the ground), as this will cause the boat to remain 10 feet above the water and unusable. Start each game with the landing gear lever retracted, as in flight.
In MSFS 2024, the passenger may be hidden by default. Consider using the EFB to add it to the payload menu.
MSFS 2020/2024 does not have a realistic drift in the water, so navigation is still imprecise in several aspects. Do not expect extreme realism - the focus of this add-on is to provide a visual and enjoyable experience for those looking for alternatives to flying. Each instrument on the boat, livery and modeling was made with great care, affection and attention to detail to meet the highest commercial standards that MSFS and other markets demand, but for several other reasons that go beyond the developer, sailing with boats in MSFS is a challenge that is not always pleasant. Always keep in mind that everything was done to ensure that you have the best possible experience despite the limitations.
It is important to say that Microsoft Flight Simulator is a game being released in its initial version. The boat was built, approved and published from the Dev Alpha provided by Microsoft, and unexpected situations may happen until the game reaches a stable version. Please understand that unexpected situations may not be a defect of the product, but of the Simulator. Write to my email about any unexpected situation, I will be working on the launch days to mitigate any problems that may happen.
FAQ
There were several reports from users of unusual situations, but with a similar report: it was impossible to control the boat / the boat stalls in a certain direction - this is not a problem linked to the Add-On itself, but a missing setting in the game standard for more experienced simulations. Piloting assistants disable some features that break the mobility of boats in the water and cause situations where users cannot navigate - and unfortunately they end up, without knowing the reason, blaming the Add-On for this. These images show a recommended configuration for navigating with a keyboard, joystick or other external control hardware, bearing in mind that some of these hardware (especially those with a landing gear lever) may present unusual or unexpected situations due to the nature of the hardware - already that it was designed for runways and airplanes.
